Elephants 1983

I was in Kenya on a photographic safari. We went so close that I took this with a normal lens. That time I was living in St.John's Newfoundland, and i exhibited this photo. The adjudicator of the photo exhibit noted in his written evaluation: "something is missing". I could never figure out what is missing. I hope one day I can go back to photograph in East Africa.

Fotó expedicion voltunk Kenyában egy csoporttal. Olyan közel mentünk az elefántokhoz hogy normál lencsével készitettem ezt a képet. Akkoriban Newfoundlandban dolgoztam és bekuuldtem egy fotó kiállitásra. Irásban kaptuk meg a biró döntését a megjegyzésével. "Valami hiányzik" irta. Mai napig nem jöttem rá mi hiányzik errõl a képrõl. Remélem még egyszer vissza jutok Klelet Afrikába.
